Sport Northern Ireland (SNI) is the leading public body for the development of sport in Northern Ireland with over 140 employees. Sport Northern Ireland operates a National Outdoor Training Centre at the base of the Mourne Mountains – Tollymore National Outdoor Centre and is a member of the UK and Ireland Outdoor Recreation Network. SNI was a founding member of ENOS. SNI’s corporate outcomes are:

• All people in N. Ireland adopting and sustaining participation in sport and physical recreation;

• Athletes in N. Ireland are among the best in the world.

Through Tollymore National Outdoor Centre, SNI provides courses for skills development, understanding of impact reduction on the natural environment and the training and assessment of leaders for a range of outdoor activities.
